- Landscape and place in southernmost Sweden
A field trip in the south-western parts of Skåne covering its rural and semi-urban landscape.
The former Danish province of Skåne has a feudal history that still is visible in the landscape. It is also one of the most productive agricultural areas in Scandinavia. Its south-western part is the scene of intense urbanization, not least in connection with the Öresund bridge now spanning the waters between Denmark and Sweden. This field trip will provide insights into the landscape history and the present situation of this dynamic area.
By bus, departure at 9.00 from Geocentrum (Sölvegatan); return ca 16.00. Lunch included.
Guide: Tomas Germundsson
